Auckland trains have been delayed this evening due to a trespass incident on the tracks near Newmarket.
Police were called at 4.55pm to a report of a person on the tracks, a spokeswoman said.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which was resolved by 5.20pm, she said.
Train services haveresumed but Auckland Transport is warning commuters to expect delays following the incident.
