Tremor felt in Foxton and Levin

An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale has been felt in part of the Manawatu and Horowhenua.

Geological and Nuclear Sciences says the tremor was centred 10km southwest of Foxton at a depth of 12km, at 10.22pm yesterday.

It was felt in Foxton and Levin.
