KEY POINTS:
Trelise Cooper takes my breath away.
In my six years at Simply You, I have never seen a bad Trelise Cooper show and this year was no exception. Delivering close to 100 looks, Trelise sent dreamy Titanic-inspired silhouettes down the runway with seriously cinched waists and three-quarter ruffled hems.
The only real problem I have with this collection is how exactly I'm going to pay for it. Hmmm.
TREND TO WATCH: Early 20th Century suiting.
BEST IN SHOW: Navy and cream ruffles. A positively dreamy combination.
NOT SO HOT: The state of my bank balance once I place my winter order.
POINT OF DIFFERENCE: No gimmicks are required when garments command centre stage.
BEST ACCESSORY: The multi-layered beaded necklaces.
ON MY SHOPPING LIST: A full painterly printed skirt and matching purple puff-sleeve blouse. Delicious.
TALKING POINT: The eight-inch heels that models had to walk in.
