KEY POINTS:
Malia Hatfull, 19, the Nelson woman who fell out of a giant sequoia wellingtonia tree at Wanaka Station Park on Sunday, has died.
Her death was confirmed by police yesterday, who said the accident would be referred to the coroner for investigation.
Miss Hatfull had been on life support in Dunedin Hospital's intensive care unit since the accident.
