The start of Treble Cone's ski season is to be postponed because of a lack of snow.
Treble Cone Ski Area chief executive Jackie van der Voort said the decision was due to some unusually warm temperatures over the past week. The ski area was due to open on Thursday.
"The Home Basin has insufficient snow cover to proceed with opening day as scheduled and unfortunately we will be postponing the start of the 2017 season."
Despite receiving snowfall earlier in the month, the temperatures on the mountain meant not enough snow was able to be made to get the run open.
