A woman's habit of buying a Lotto ticket in each new town she visits has paid off with a $1 million Lotto first division win.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, was staying in Levin on business when she bought her winning ticket from Levin Mall Lotto.
"Every time I go out of town I buy a Lotto ticket from the place I'm visiting, it's just a habit I have got into", she said.
After the draw on Saturday, she checked her Levin ticket and found she had all the winning numbers.
The woman plans to spend her money paying off her mortgage, investing her money and doing something nice for friends and family.
