The Hamilton bus driver trapped under his bus outside Waikato Hospital last week is out of intensive care.
Ross McSheffrey was run over by his own bus in the carpark of the hospital on December 29.
The 52-year-old suffered severe internal injuries but is now in a stable condition in the hospital high dependency unit.
A contractor used his digger to lift the bus off him and a nurse gave him oxygen, and he was eventually freed by firefighters.
