The dream of having an Auckland Harbour Bridge crossing for pedestrians and cyclists came a little closer last month with the publication of the Ernst and Young review of the Skypath business case.
The initial revenue stream ranged from $3.25m-$5.56m per annum, which proves that the crossing is financially feasible.
The group getacross.org.nz also said that the New Zealand Transport Agency has adopted SkyPath as its preferred walking and cycling option for the next harbour crossing.
