Tramper's body still missing

The body of a tramper who went missing in the Kahurangi National Park three years ago was not found during a new search on Saturday.

Motueka man Karl Erza Sorenson, 23, went missing in the Mt Arthur area in May 2001. The search was resumed after cavers found his wallet and clothes this month.

But little more than camping items had been found, said Sergeant Dale Jenkins, of Motueka police.
