Trampers airlifted to Palmerston North

The Palmerston North rescue helicopter has airlifted two trampers out of the bush.

One of the trampers had fallen ill and needed medical attention.

The rescue chopper's advanced paramedic assessed the tramper's condition before flying the patient to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment.
