Trains on Auckland's southern and Onehunga lines have been disrupted after a person wandered onto tracks during rush hour.
Commuters face delays for the next 30 minutes after the trespasser walked on the busy electrified southern line at Remuera.
Trains ground to a halt while police were called to escort the person off the tracks.
Auckland Transport said the tracks are now clear but those travelling on the affected lines could expect ongoing disruptions triggered by the unexpected shut down.
