Auckland's long-awaited supply deal for its first electric trains is expected to be signed by the end of the week, after being delayed from yesterday.
Although representatives of winning tenderer CAF of Spain are understood to have been in Auckland since the weekend to sign a supply and maintenance contract for the 57 three-car trains, last-minute arrangements have yet to be finalised.
