Fog blanketed Auckland this morning, affecting flights into and out of the city's airport and making for a murky training session for the Auckland Air New Zealand Cup squad.
Flights were diverted, cancelled or delayed and hundreds of passengers were stranded at the airport.
The weather did not stop Auckland naming a strong side, featuring four current All Blacks, for Sunday's clash against Tasman.
The fog finally lifted at about midday.
