Auckland's Sylvia Park shopping centre is offering retail workers hundreds of free tickets to catch trains running directly to their workplace.
Centre landlord Kiwi Income Property Trust has bought 200 10-trip tickets for distribution among the 2500 or so employees based at its Mt Wellington site.
The trust has already spent $5 million on a new railway station, which will be available for public use from Monday.
