Traffic is moving freely around Auckland as the last day of the holidays nears its end.
The sunny, warm weather may have prompted returning holiday-makers to postpone their journeys until later tonight, but so far the roads are looking clear.

New Zealand Transport Agency live webcams show traffic flowing on all major routes in and out of the city. Only State Highway 1 at Greville Rd and SH1 at the South-Eastern Highway were reporting 'moderate flow', but the webcams showed near-empty roads.
The same could be said for Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, where roads were also clear this afternoon.
