Traffic delayed after man falls from overpass

A man was killed in Auckland this afternoon after falling on to the Northwestern Motorway from an overpass and being struck by a vehicle.

Police said the incident happened when the man fell from Bond St, between Grey Lynn and Eden Terrace, about 5pm.

The incident affected westbound traffic and was expected to cause significant delays.
