Severely congested traffic on Auckland's North-Western Motorway this morning is back to normal after city-bound queues extended past Hobsonville.
The delays were due to a new road layout on the motorway, NZTA said.
Earlier this morning, NZTA said it would take 81 minutes from the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway to reach the city centre on SH16.
Motorists were advised to take State Highway 18 and State Highway 1.
However, traffic was back to normal by 8.45am, NZTA said.
