KEY POINTS:
A 61-year-old man was in Waikato Hospital last night with serious injuries after his clothes were snagged by the driveshaft of a tractor on a farm at Waharoa, near Matamata, yesterday.
The Westpac rescue helicopter flew him to the hospital after he was nearly strangled in the incident.
