A tractor has flipped in a crash with a truck on the outskirts of Gisborne this morning.
State Highway 2 north of the city is down to one lane after the smash blocked a lane and left a tractor upturned in a ditch.

"The tractor has completely flipped and isin the drain," said a police spokeswoman.
Emergency services were called about 6.30am to Matawai Rd, near the intersection of O'Grady Rd.
