Placing second in the under-18 girls hammer throw was Emma Kruszona with a distance of 49.32m. Lauren Bruce (Canterbury) came first with her best effort measuring 53.28m.
Tom Quinn came third in the under-20 men's javelin with a distance of 43.81m.
The event was won by Kyle van der Merwe from Taranaki with 58.23m and second was Nathan Bradley (Pakuranga) with 57.96m. Quinn was also sixth in the under-20 hammer throw with 47.99m.
Wairarapa won two bronze medals on the track - Stevie Paine finished third in the under-20 women's 400m and Alison Andrews-Paul also came third in the under-18 women's 1500m.
Paine was clocked at 58.51s with only two Waikato-Bay of Plenty representatives ahead of her - Erin McCleery (56.45s) and Kay White (56.83s).
Andrews-Paul was timed at 4m 41.38s in finishing behind Arianna Lord of Waikato-Bay of Plenty (4.40.11) and Jessica Martin (Tasman) 4.40.36 in a race which attracted a field of 17.
The under-20 women's 800m featured Paine and Molly Creagh with Paine coming fourth in 2.13.05 and Creagh seventh in 2.20.35 and they were part of a Wellington line-up which finished second in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4.3.62.
Andrews-Paul and Tessa Laven also gave Wairarapa two finalists in the under-18 women's 800m, Andrews-Paul finishing fourth in 2.12.62 and Laven eighth in 2.18.18, Laven had earlier recorded a pb of 2.17.45s in her heat, something she also managed when clocking 61.27 in her heat of the 400m.
Simone Small qualified for the final of the senior women's 100m where she placed sixth in 12.58 and she was fifth in her heat of the 200m in 27.06 while Sian Chapman was seventh in her semifinal of the under-18 women's 100m in 13.26.
She joined Laven and a third Wairarapa runner in Tyler Griffiths in the Wellington 4x400m relay team who were sixth in 4.12.25 and was also part of the Wellington 4x100m relay team which was fourth in 49.24.
Edward Hewitt was seventh in the final of the under-18 men's 400m in 51.80 and he and Dhruv Raman were part of a Wellington team which was third in the 4x400m relay in 3.35.64.
Raman and Morison both clocked 12.20 in their 100m heats with Morison recording 24.90 in his 200m heat.
Toyah Churton was 15th in the under-18 women's long jump with a leap of 4.60m and 10th in the triple jump with a distance of 9.85m and the under-18 women's shot put saw Katie Smith put an impressive 13.30m for fifth placing and she was fourth in the under-20 event with 12.04m. Grace Quinn threw 35.77m for sixth in the under-18 women's hammer throw.
Tim Girling-McLean was seventh in the senior men's shot put with a distance of 13.04m and also seventh in the under-20 event with 14.80m. He was 12th in the under-20 discus with a throw of 37.23m.
