Tourists urged to avoid Myanmar

New Zealand tourists should not go to Myanmar and all trade with the country should be stopped, a visiting group of Myanmarese leaders says.

They want pressure maintained on the military dictatorship in the country, formerly known as Burma, that they say has oppressed the 50 million Myanmarese people since 1962.
