Firefighters had to attend to an overturned Toyota Land Cruiser on farmland after it rolled down a bank near Taieri Mouth in Otago yesterday.
Southern District Command Centre deployment co-ordinator Senior Sergeant Dave Scott said that five Chinese tourists in the vehicle - three adults in their 30s and two children aged 4 and 4 months - sustained minor injuries in the crash at 4.20pm.
''They were on a gravel road and unused to driving in New Zealand conditions and the vehicle has overturned and rolled down a bank.''
The tourists sustained ''bumps and bruises'' and were treated at the scene, he said.
Both children were restrained in car seats, Mr Scott said.
