A tourist has been found dead on a Hamilton road, but police say there was no foul play involved.
Police said the 32-year-old man, in New Zealand on a business trip, was found by a motorist in Hillsborough Terrace about 1am.
The man was lying unconscious in the street and had suffered head injuries.
An ambulance crew attended the scene but were unable to save the man, who died at the scene.
Police said it appeared the tourist died as a result of an accidental fall down a steep bank and over a 5 metre retaining wall onto the roadway.
