An Australian tourist who went missing from the Christchurch suburb of Lyttelton early on Friday morning has been found alive.
Michael Craig, 45, who was on a fishing trip with a friend, had been last seen walking near the harbour about 2am after drinking at the Lyttelton Hotel.
Police were concerned for the Tasmanian resident and searched the port and the water.
However, he was found alive and well today, police said.
