KEY POINTS:
A 61-year-old English man has died after falling from a mountain bike on a track in the Whakarewarewa Forest.
Police said the man was airlifted to Rotorua Hospital after being knocked unconscious from a fall about 3pm today.
The man, who was visiting family in New Zealand, died tonight in the hospital.
