Two representative touch players have been suspended for a month and two months for returning positive tests for cannabis.
The New Zealand Sports Disputes Tribunal suspended Bay of Plenty's Matiu Solomon for a month and North Harbour's Willie Morunga for two months after they were tested at the national tournament in Christchurch in March.
Both were severely reprimanded.
Morunga copped a heavier suspension because he was a member of the Counties-Manukau team who "twice transgressed seriously on drug offences in 2004," the tribunal said in its summary.
