An eight-tonne truck crashed in Kokotau Rd, near Parkvale, closing the road for several hours yesterday.
Traffic was diverted while a crane was used to lift the truck, which had tipped on to its side.
The Dougherty Transport truck had been travelling between Masterton and Martinborough at about 12.45pm when it crossed on to the edge of the road and rolled.
The driver was unharmed.
Police Senior Sergeant Pete Sykes said the truck was carrying a mixed load including timber, paint and pesticide.
