Top three finish

The Wairarapa under-13 boys hockey team which finished third equal in their Curtis Cup tournament in Wanganui. They beat Taranaki 3-2 , lost to Hawke's Bay 0-3, beat Horowhenua 5-1, lost to Hutt Valley 2-5 and, on finals day, drew 1-1 with Manawatu in the playoff for third and fourth. Luke McKay was named player of the tournament.
