Excelling in no fewer than seven sports has seen Libby Noema named as the Masterton Intermediate School Sportsperson of the Year for 2005.
She made her mark in athletics, hockey, soccer, rugby, tennis, touch rugby and volleyball.
Other finalists for the premier trophy at the annual MIS sports awards were Esther Crispin (athletics and rugby), Lydia Haira (basketball, netball and tennis), Daniel Ingham (cricket and soccer) and Ben Poole (hockey and tennis).
