Top criminal defence lawyer Steven Rollo has appeared in the Christchurch District Court today on methamphetamine charges.
He is accused of possessing the drug and failing to give an enforcement officer his name and address in July.
Rollo is noted for his work defending New Zealand gang members.
Rollo entered a not guilty plea and will appear again at the end of next month.
