Viaduct Events Centre The country's pinnacle fashion event returns to the Viaduct Events Centre at the end of August - the weekend begins with an in-season show by Kate Sylvester and the official Kick Off Party, followed by runway shows, beauty seminars, DJs and more.

Herald Theatre This critically acclaimed Australian romantic comedy set against the background of an impending climate change disaster is sure to spark debate. The Sydney Morning Herald called the play a 'gently unsettling portrait of the times we live in'.

Auckland Art Gallery Look differently at the places and objects that form the world inside our minds with the works of five leading contemporary New Zealand artists - Kate Newby, Simon Denny, Ruth Buchanan, Fiona Connor and Ronnie van Hout.
Q Theatre Sex and politics come to a head in this fresh take on Aristophanes' text created by Michael Hurst and the team behind Chicago, and starring Amanda Billing, Jennifer Ward Lealand and Sia Trokenheim.
8. DISNEY ON ICE: DARE TO DREAM

Vector Arena Everyone's favourite Disney characters return to Vector Arena for the skating spectacular that is Disney on Ice. Dare to Dream celebrates 75 years of princess stories, from the classic Snow White to modern Tiana.

Rambling, pessimistic Irish humour at its very best. Dylan Moran is known for his work in BBC comedy Black Books, and cult classic films Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run and is considered one of the greatest living stand-ups.
