Eight months after being damaged by skateboarders, the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Wellington has been restored - and officials want the public's help to keep it in good condition.
In April, gouges and scratches were found on the bronze mantle and granite marble of the tomb's exterior.
National War Memorial curator Paul Riley said repairs had taken a long time because of difficulties getting the colour of the stone correct and having to re-engrave the text on the tomb.
