Tolls to cut Tauranga traffic

Traffic volumes have been tipped to plummet by a third if tolls are reintroduced on Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

The $1.25 toll on the planned four-lane Harbour Link expressway has been predicted to lower traffic volumes from 37,000 a day to 27,000 when the expressway opens in 2009.
