A toddler run over in the driveway of her Flaxmere home by a Post Haste Courier van on Tuesday, is stable and improving in ICU at Starship Hospital, a spokesman said this morning.
Georgia Heremia, 17 months, was being minded by her grandmother and an aunt, when she wandered in front of the van. The toddler suffered internal bleeding and a crushed liver when she was hit as the driver went to exit the driveway, though police are yet to determine exactly what happened.
It has not been decided if the courier driver will face charges.
