A toddler struck and killed by a car in Rotorua yesterday has been named as 16-month-old Tyrese Hill from Taupo.
The incident occurred after Tyrese wandered out of a house and into the path of a vehicle driven by a relative.
The woman, who was not the boy's mother, was leaving a house on Turner Drive and unaware the child had followed.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
