An 18-month-old has died after being run over by a vehicle in an Auckland driveway.
"Sadly, the child has died. The serious crash unit is at the scene," a Counties Manukau District duty inspector said.
Police were called to the South Auckland address in Otahuhu about 2.20pm today. Officers were still at the scene of the incident.
"There is still a large amount of work to be done to establish the circumstances around this incident," police said in a statement.
