A 20-month-old boy was taken to hospital suffering moderate injuries in Auckland this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a Tindalls Beach property about 1.35pm, where the boy was injured.
He was flown by helicopter to the emergency department at Starship Children's Hospital, a St John spokesman said.
He said
no further details about the incident were available.
The Fire Service attended but referred NZME to St John for comment.
