Two philanthropic organisations have joined forces to create a new foundation to find practical solutions to the challenges of climate change.
The Hikurangi Foundation has been established with funding of $500,000 from the Tindall and Todd foundations respectively.
Todd Foundation chairman John Todd said the Hikurangi Foundation was born out of the desire to ensure the sustainability of New Zealand's environment.
Tindall Foundation chairman Stephen Tindall said the collaboration reflected the importance and urgency of the challenge.
