The latest ABC audited circulation results, released yesterday, saw the Wairarapa Times-Age increase its circulation in the first three months of the year by 0.4 per cent.
At the same time, Nielsen readership showed the Times-Age readership at 9000, down from 11,000 in the previous period.
General manager Andrew Denholm noted the readership statistics were a quarterly release based off a database with a sample drawn from only 64 respondents.
Data from a larger sample size, for the period to June 2014, will be released in late August.
He said to grow circulation in the first three months of the year was a fantastic result.
