A coroner is highlighting the need for a close look at trampoline safety just as many families may be finding one among their Christmas gifts.
It follows a report into the death of 22-month-old Leo Hayne in November last year.
Leo was being looked after by a home-based caregiver along with four other children, all under the age of 6.
The caregiver popped Leo and another child on a trampoline and zipped up the safety net.
She was distracted by another child -- and when she returned to the trampoline she found the net unzipped and Leo lying motionless on the ground.
