KEY POINTS:
The Thai tiler at the centre of the Taito Phillip Field affair is planning to sue the MP.
Mr Field learned on Friday that police have been given the nod to take corruption charges against him to trial.
Now Sunan Siriwan, who worked for the MP for more than a year at a property in Samoa, is suing him for more than $200,000.
His lawyer Olinda Woodroffe says he was never paid a cent for his work, and believes his rights have been violated.
She is challenging Mr Field to front up with pay-slips to the tiler and his wife for work done around their home in Samoa.
Ms Woodroffe is planning to serve Mr Field with court papers within the next two weeks.
