Tikitiki earthquake measures 4.1

There has been an earthquake in the Tikitiki area north of Gisborne.

It measured 4.1 on the Richter scale and was recorded at 2.32 this afternoon.

It was located 60 kilometres east of Tikitiki at a depth of 25 kilometres.
