Tiki Taane is poking more fun at his arrest by releasing T-shirts that state "love the police".
The musician was this month charged with inciting violence for reciting a police protest song at a Tauranga nightclub. He has since dispelled rumours he is considering leaving the country, telling fans on his Facebook page not to believe media hype.
Taane claims to have signed a police disclaimer over Easter weekend promising he wouldn't incite any violence at his gig in Whangamata. The 34-year-old is due in the Tauranga District Court next month for a case review hearing.
He says procceeds from the shirts will go to charity.
