A 3-year-old child has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Lower Hutt this afternoon.
The toddler was hit by a car outside a kindergarten on Naenae Road, said Wellington Free Ambulance spokesman Chris Matthews.
The child was taken to Hutt Hospital with life-threatening injuries, he said.
