Three teens in court on sexual violation charges

Three teenagers have appeared in court accused of the sexual violation of another student at a south Auckland school.

An incident occurred on the school grounds last month where a male student was allegedly held down and sexually violated with an object.

The three 15-year-olds face sexual violation and violence charges.

Counties Manukau police spokeswoman Ana-Mari Gates Bowey said two of the three accused appeared in the Pukekohe Youth Court on Wednesday and the other appeared yesterday.

Tight suppression orders are in place because of their age so few details can be reported.

All three have been granted bail with strict conditions.

All three students were excluded from the school after the incident.
