Three Southland teenagers have been charged with firearms offences after a pet goat was shot.
The three 17-year-old males were arrested following shots were fired twice on July 17.
Western Southland Senior Sergeant Pete Graham says early a group of young males in a ute reportedly shot a pet goat and an outhouse at a remote hut in the Rowallan area.
A group of the same description had also fired shots near another hut, scaring the occupants.
