Three people are seriously injured after a car hit a milk tanker in Canterbury this morning.
The crash happened on State Highway One at Dunsandel at around 7.30am.
A St John spokeswoman said two people were taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance, and a third by rescue helicopter - all in a serious condition.
Police are still at the scene.
