KEY POINTS:
Three people were arrested after a 20km car chase in South Auckland this afternoon.
Inspector Willie Taylor of the Police Northern Communications Centre said police pursued the vehicle from Paerata, near Pukekohe, to Papakura between 1.22pm and 1.34pm.
Speeds were safe and the chase ended when the three occupants stopped and ran from the vehicle.
Two people were arrested at the scene and another person was caught a short distance away five minutes later.
