Three Timaru men have been arrested in relation to a serious assault earlier this month on a man in Christchurch, police say.
The arrests came after police raids on a number of addresses today, Inspector Dave Gaskin said.
Three men aged 27, 30 and 35 -- believed to be members of the Timaru chapter of the Mongrel Mob -- were arrested at the properties.
The 27-year-old and 35-year-old appeared in Christchurch District Court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, Mr Gaskin said.
The 30-year-old would appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow, also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, as well as additional charges relating to burglary and unlawful activity.
