Three people were injured, one critically, when two cars crashed on a winding road in suburban Wellington this afternoon.
Inspector Mike Coleman said one car overturned after the the 1.30pm crash on Makara Road, south Karori.
The critically injured person had been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road was open, Mr Coleman said.
